Wait, theres a comment section? Awesome! So, on the VHF/UHF rigs if youre operating packet with a TNC, or perhaps using VARA FM with a soundcard interface, is it better to use the rx1200 or the rx9600 line? I’ve noticed that on the rx1200 line there is a spike and delay before the level settles in on that line if you have the squelch turned up that causes you to lose the first part of packet transmission, meaning that you have to leave the squelch open to receive packets.
